during march, i am a virtual artist in residence at nanyang university in singapore, as part of randall packer's visiting professorship there and the online symposium he is organising, called "art of the networked practice". being a virtual artist in residence involves working with randall's students to introduce them to the concept of cyberformance and to develop a performance which will be part of the opening of the symposium, and giving a public lecture.
we've begun work on the performance and i'm blogging about it on furtherfield; so far the students are having a lot of fun with the exercises that randall & i are giving them, and we are coming up with some good ideas for the performance which is on 31st march.
the lecture is this week, on wednesday 25th from 10am to 11.30 CET; i think it should be possible to watch it online, but the main audience will be at the university in singapore. i've been really busy lately with my cousins from australia who are here for boreollosis treatment, so now is the time to really focus and prepare what i'm going to say!
